Dick Thornburgh was the US Attorney General for the end of Bush41's administration, and rarely gets named in connection with Ruby Ridge (compare that to Reno and Waco. Reno was sworn almost two full weeks after the seige began). In his 284 page report, on page 4 states "The Panel has not been able to conclude with absolute certainty whether the Killian documents are authentic or forgeries." Since proving they are not forgeries, without a chain of custody, is impossible, it becomes obvious to me that they were, in fact, real. Full Thornburgh report
