Zac Posen, Fall 2008
A competent show. Not his best work.
The show started with the strange message that women's legs were more important than their clothes. Was there some other message I should have gotten from all those colored tights?
It progressed into some very good work, with a few very fine ensembles coming along.
Creativity is, and is not, a fountain. Letting the right amount of it out, and not becoming satisified, is a great challenge. Let's hope he bottles some more up for next season.
