Really Bad News

     Sure, I think Bush is an idiot, and a fool, and a tool, but I don't actually want murder, mayhem and malfeasance in al-Iraq.

     The Mayor of Baghdad, not Tikrit, not some village in the desert, was pushed out by armed militia (Badr/SCIRI, not Sadr) and replaced by a member of that faction.

     Apparently it happened August 8th, but the news was suppressed inside the US for 24 hours.

     UPDATE: Apparently protestors are being shot for calling for the removal of the Governor of al-Muthanna province.  One dead and forty injured.
